OBD Port Location

Almost all vehicles currently have their OBD port under the steering column in some form. They do attempt to "hide" them or keep them safe in some way so they can sometimes be difficult to locate.

• Some will be behind doors labeled "OBD or DATA POINT/PORT."

• Some are pushed far up underneath the plastic column shield where your knees would generally be when driving. There are times customers will have to get on their back or knees on the ground to look far enough underneath to find the port.

• Some are on the right side of the column- closer to the center console/radio area than the drivers door.
