# If I have Aftermarket equipment installed will the EZ installer work?

It depends on what type of aftermarket equipment that is installed and the vehicle itself for each different circumstance, but aftermarket products most commonly that can cause issues are remote starters and aftermarket radio systems.

Other aftermarket products like decorative ignition cylinder rings, or non-original remotes may also hinder proper programming with the EZ installer.
