Machine repeatedly states that an unfamiliar object is in the scan chamber when attempting to scan a key.
- Clean the glass in the scan chamber by spraying a small amount of glass-cleaner on a cloth or paper towel, then gently wiping the glass until clear. DO NOT SPRAY CLEANER INTO THE SCAN CHAMBER.
- Ensure only the key is being placed in the scan chamber- all accessories or key rings must be removed.
- Shutdown the machine then power it back on.
- Then scan any key and confirm it is recognized.
If cleaning the scan chamber and ensuring only the key is placed in the chamber does not resolve the issue, call Customer Technical Support and inform them of the actions you have taken so far.
