1993 - 1994 Volvo 960, 1993 Volvo 940, 1993 Volvo 850, 1993 Volvo 240 Remote Programming Instructions

NOTE: Entry into programming mode clears all existing remotes from memory until they are re-entered into memory. So be sure to have all remotes to be used present at time of programming so you can program them all at once.

1. Close all doors on your vehicle.
2. Enter the vehicle, close the door, and insert the key into the ignition.
3. Turn the key from OFF to ON, FIVE TIMES within 10 SECONDS, ENDING IN THE ON POSITION.
4. WITHIN 30 SECONDS, press either the LOCK or the UNLOCK button on each remote that you want to program, including any old, existing remotes.
5. Remove the key from the ignition, exit the vehicle, and close the door. Test remotes(s) for functionality.
