NOTE: This procedure is for the flip key/remote combo. Before you start you must have two already programmed keys for your vehicle. If you only have one or no programmed keys then you will have to have a locksmith program them for you.
- Insert the first previously programmed coded key into the ignition.
- Turn the ignition from off to on. Keep the ignition on for at least three seconds, but no more than ten seconds.
- Turn the ignition off and remove the first coded key from the ignition.
- After three seconds, but within ten seconds of turning off the ignition, insert the second previously coded key.
- Turn the ignition from off to on. Keep the ignition on for at least three seconds, but no more than ten seconds.
- Turn the ignition off and remove the second previously programmed coded key.
- After three seconds, but within twenty seconds of turning the ignition off and removing the previously coded key, insert the new unprogrammed key.
- Turn the ignition from off to on. Keep the ignition on for at least six seconds.
- Remove the newly programmed coded key.
- If the new integrated keyhead remote key has been successfully programmed, it will start the vehicle's engine and operate the Remote Keyless Entry System.
- If programming was not successful, wait ten seconds and repeat Steps one through nine.
NOTE: This procedure is for the Intelligent Access Key. Before you start you must have two already programmed Intelligent Access keys and have them in your vehicle. If you only have one or none programmed keys then you will have to have a locksmith program them for you.
- Put the new un-programed Intelligent Access key in the center console pocket.
- Press the driver or passenger power door unlock control three times.
- Press and release the brake pedal once.
- Press the driver or passenger power door lock control three times.
- Press and release the brake pedal once.
- The indicator on the start/stop button should begin to flash quickly, indicating that the programming mode has been entered and two programmed Intelligent Access keys have been detected in the vehicle.
- Within one minute, press the start/stop button. A message will be displayed on the message center indicating that the new Intelligent Access key was programmed.
- Remove the Intelligent Access key from the center console pocket and press the unlock control on the newly programmed Intelligent Access keys to exit the programming mode.
- Verify that the new Intelligent Access key's remote entry functions operate by pressing lock, then unlock, and then starting the vehicle.
- Your new Intelligent Access key is now ready to use.
