1990 - 2002 Toyota & Lexus Vehicles Remote Programming Instructions

Verify your vehicle's year, make, and model are on the attached list of compatible vehicles before you attempt these programming steps. NOTE: Locate the keyless entry receiver module. It is usually underneath either the driver or the passenger seat.

1.  Insert key and turn to the ON position (as far as you can go without cranking the engine).
2. Press the programming button for 3 seconds, release.
3. Within 5 seconds of step 4, press and release the top button of the remote to be programmed. There may be a confirmation from the system to indicate successful programming, including horn beep, chirp, or vehicle lights flashing.
4. If you have additional remotes to program, repeat steps 4-5.
5. Turn the ignition switch to OFF to exit Programming MODE.
6. Test all remotes for functionality.
