2007 Ford Focus Remote Programming Instructions

NOTE: Ensure all remotes you own for this vehicle are on hand prior to following programming steps. They will need to be reprogrammed at the same time new remote(s) are added.

1. Fasten seat belts and close all doors.
2. Turn ignition from off to run four times within six seconds, with the fourth time ending in run (off is the position where you can remove your key, run is the position just shy of starting your car).
3. Turn ignition to off. Acoustic signal will sound to confirm programming mode.
4. Within ten seconds, press and hold any button on the first keyless remote. Wait for the acoustic sound and warning lamp to flash (confirming programming) then release the button on the remote.
5. Wait two seconds but within ten seconds repeat step four for all of the other remotes. If you only have one remote then continue to step five.
6. Turn ignition to run or wait ten seconds to end programming mode.
