# 1998 - 2013 Ford, Lincoln, & Mercury Remote Programming Instructions (Select Models: See Attached List)

**Important note: Verify your vehicle is on the attached list before attempting programming with these instructions.**

1. Turn ignition from off to run 8 times within 10 seconds, with the 8th time ending in run.
2. Door locks will cycle to confirm you are in programming mode.
3. Within 20 seconds, press any button on first keyless remote.
4. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming.
5. Within 20 seconds, press any button on second keyless remote.
6. Door locks will cycle again to confirm programming.
7. Turn ignition to off.
8. Locks will again cycle to indicate end of programming mode.
