2005 & 2007 Subaru Remote Programming Instructions (Select Models)

Instructions for Models: 2005 Subaru Forester, 2005 & 2007 Subaru Impreza

1. Deactivate alarm if equipped.
2. Get in vehicle and close door (all other doors closed).
3. Within 15 seconds, turn ignition to on position and back to lock position 10 times. Leave key in ignition. Horn will sound once to indicate you have entered programming mode.
4. Within 45 seconds: Open and close driver's door.
5. Press lock or unlock button on remote you want to program. The horn should sound twice to indicate remote was programed.
6. To program additional remotes repeat steps 4 and 5 for each remote.
7. Horn will sound after each remote is programed.
8. When the last remote has been programed, remove key from ignition.
9. Horn will sound three times to indicate exit of programming mode.
10. Test remote(s).
