2008 - 2012 Dodge Remote Programming Instructions (Select Models)

Instructions for Models: 2008-2009 Dodge Challenger, 2008-2009 Charger, 2009 Journey, 2010-2012 Ram Pickup

IMPORTANT NOTES: You must have two working programed remotes before you can add a third remote. If you only have one working remote and want to add a second remote this procedure will not work.

1. Using first programed remote turn ignition to the on position for 3 seconds but no longer than 15 seconds. Do not crank engine.
2. Turn remote to off and remove.
3. Within 15 seconds insert second working programed remote. Turn ignition to the on position (Do not crank engine).
4. After 10 seconds an acoustic signal will be heard and immobilizer warning lamp will flash.
5. Turn remote off and remove second programed remote.
6. Within 60 seconds insert the third new non-programed remote into ignition and turn to the on position (Do not crank engine).
7. After 10 seconds an acoustical signal will be heard and immobilizer warning lamp will illuminate for 3 seconds.
8. Turn remote to the off position and remove.
9. Test remotes.

ADDITIONAL NOTE: Repeat procedure for additional remotes if required. A maximum of 8 remotes can be programed.
